At Work…

The photographs give some idea of the scale of work involved when undertaking a church conversion.

The building has to be stripped right back to its shell, while carefully protecting all architectural detail.  The true condition of the building can then be assessed and the necessary repair & renovation works completed. These fundamental works also include incorporating levels of insulation into the structure that are appropriate for the 21st C.

As the project advances, the works increasingly become a matter of conversion, with new internal layouts and the installation of modern services.

Finally the work moves towards the finishing trades and the first glimpses of the finished project emerge. . . .
